Back to School

I've been slacking off A LOT and I apologize for being super lazy. I just got back to school last Sunday and this is my second week of classes so I've been kinda busy.

To make matters worse, my roommate moved out so I'm TV-less which is horrible because I love TV and the Australian open is on.

I bet a lot of you are wondering why doesn't Arisa make new posts on her blog with all the free time? Wellll I would but I spend half of my free time sitting in my room in silence. Did you laugh a little? It wasn't a joke. This is a serious matter.

So to pass my free time when I don't have homework or golf practice/workouts, I made myself a twitter with the help of my friend. It's not really going well at the moment cause it looks like nonsense to me and confuses me but feel free to follow me and don't worry I'm working on a new post as we speak, well not really cause I'm not speaking but you know what I mean.

Peeling Veggies Part 2

Hiya sooo before you start reading this you should definitely consider reading the first part to understand this more if you already haven't.

You remember when I said I loved peeling veggies? I lied. I hate peeling potatoes with a passion because they're secretly evil. Peeling potatoes frustrates me and I'm the type of person who never gets mad. If you ever decide to enter me in a potato peeling contest please don't. I will probably lose, come in last and embarrass you. Just a fair warning.

My best friend thought it would be funny to get me a sack of potatoes for Christmas because she knows just looking at potatoes makes me mad. What she doesn't know is I'm practicing to potato her house very soon. Good thing she has brick walls maybe we can make mash potatoes after.

The past week hasn't been so fun for me and it was suppose to cause its the first real week I got to spend at home since august. Let me tell you about the time I had to peel the worst potatoes ever. Soo I expected to come home and relax because college is pretty stressful but instead, I spend my week especially Christmas peeling carrots and potatoes. I really don't mind carrots but potatoes are a NO. I don't think my mom understands that I hate peeling potatoes. I give her the obvious hint - like when she brings out the potato sack I run away.

The worst part about peeling potatoes is that I have a time limit of when they need to be done. Every time my mom tells me when the potatoes need to be done, I try to tell her its impossible to finish it on time because I'm so slow at peeling potatoes but nooo she never listens.

Normally my mom wouldn't freak out as much when it takes me twenty minutes to peel a potato but that day was the day of our annual kind of Christmas dinner party and my mom was rushing to make lots of food for our guests. I learned that day to never cross my mom when she's stressed and making food. Also being incapable of peeling potatoes like a normal person didn't really lighten her mood either.

Okay so majority of the time when I'm trying to explain stuff to my mom it usually ends up in a kinda argument and this is how it went down.
Note- the kinda argument was like a mixture of Laotian and English. I tried my best to translate it.

Mom- How does it take you 20 minutes just to peel one potato? Really?
Me- Mommm you don't understa-
Mom- No it doesn't take me 20 minutes just to peel a potato when I can peel 6
Me- Well I'm sorry I don't have magical potato peeling powers like you do
Me - And its taking me forever because you bought the ugliest potatoes ever
Mom- Why are you talking when you could be peeling?
Mom- Oh and I still need 4 potatoes

What I meant by ugly potatoes is deformed potatoes. It really doesn't make potato peeling much faster when I have the worst sack of deformed potatoes. Remember when I said potatoes are evil? Welll deformed potatoes are the evilest of them all. If they had faces I bet they would be laughing and taunting me right now.

And because of evil deformed potatoes, I spent my first relaxing week at home and Christmas slaving away in the kitchen peeling potatoes.

Peeling Veggies

Hi, my name is Arisa and I'm a veggie peeling addict. Its a weird addiction, I know and I think I'm the only one who thinks peeling veggies is exciting. Yeah you probably think I'm a huge weirdo but don't cross me and peeling carrots because I am a master at peeling carrots, no joke. If there's ever a carrot peeling contest and you decide to join, be prepared to lose.

It's almost like I have a 6th sense for when its time to peel carrots.

Random Dancing

You probably think this blog is weird and random. It wouldn't be weird if I wasn't weird and I'm a very weird kid, I'm not going to lie. But really, who wants to read a plain blog about some random kid shoveling snow or going to the store? I know I wouldn't, well maybe. Well one of the weird things I like to do that I'll share today that I'm sure a lot of people share with me - I like to randomly dance.

My little brother and everyone who's experience me randomly dancing thinks I'm a weirdo because I like to randomly dance out of no where, especially when I'm back home cause that's where all the dance inside of me comes out. Sometimes you just have the feeling that you need to dance right? Its okay your not alone cause I get the feeling too. The dancing doesn't even have to be good, I mean the random dancing I do isn't special its just me running, spinning and doing the Hannah Montana's nobody's perfect dance where she moves her arms up and down. I'm kind of sure people get a kick out of me dancing except my little brother (booo). He always tells me to stop but jeez who does he think he is the dance police?

That was a really lame comeback but its what I've been telling him every time he tells me to stop. But why would stop? It's my job to annoy my brother because what are siblings for? (plus it's pretty entertaining seeing him annoyed) So to all the people who randomly dance you're not alone and if it annoys your siblings, keep on dancing.

foggg

So its foggy outside which means it's time for another round of night time hide and seek. The last time I  played, it was at school and it wasn't  that fun of an experience. I think it was three in the morning when we played and it took my friends half an hour to find me. Because they took their sweet time to find me, I fell asleep in the bush I was hiding in because I couldn't stay up anymore.

The good thing is that they found me and I didn't get kidnapped but the bad thing was i was covered in dirt and leaves. Because I was covered in dirt people thought I was wasted and just randomly passed out on the ground. In the result of that, people wanted to be friends with me, the weird kid who fell asleep outside. Good times.

Ohh Black Ice

Do you ever feel the need to impress your siblings by doing something cool? Well that was my entertainment for today. We were shoveling because snow is insane in Illinois. Anyways, I thought it was cool to run, slide, and jump in the snow because my brothers were too wussy to do it.

So I was having a blast with this for a good solid half an hour until I didn't see the invisible patch of black ice covered in the snow. I was minding my business and playing in the snow until I jump on that certain patch of ice and face planted into the ground. I'm pretty sure the whole block heard me scream in pain. I'm soo sorry face.

Guess who got a lecture about not acting like the responsible older sibling?

kiwis

So you've probably seen on TV or somewhere when someone at a supermarket is looking at some fruit or veggie on a rack thing then they pick one and somehow they all fall. Wellll that's what happened to me today while I was getting kiwis for my mom. So I was picking some and then I picked some random one and they all fell. I laughed and then ran away cause I was scared I would get in trouble but I came back and picked them up to be nice while everyone stared at me. Great day.
